Ushbu maqolada elektron lug‘atlarni o‘quv jarayonida qo‘llash zamonaviy ta’limni talabi sifatida ko‘rib chiqiladi. Maqolada elektron lug'atlarning funksionalligi, ularning afzalliklari, kamchiliklari va muammola yechimlar ko'rsatilgan. Elektron lug'atlarning tezlik, ma'lumotni topishda qulaylik, katta hajm, so'zning ovozli va grafik tasviri, imlo tekshiruvi, matnning tushunarligi va yana boshqa turli xil afzalliklari mavjud. Maqolada talabalar ma’ruza, amaliy mashg‘ulotlar va mustaqil ishlar davomida elektron lug‘atlardan foydalanish ularga o‘qish malakasini oshirishda qay darajada yordam berishi ham ko‘rsatilgan. O`qituvchilar dars jaranoyinida elektron lug`atlardan to`g`ri foydalanishi haqida ro`yiqnomalar ham berib o`tilgan.
