Abstract

This article is about the importance and essense of traditions in the short story "Two Thanksgiving Day Gentlemen" written by O'Henry. The story also highlights the importance of gratitude and giving thanks, which are essential components of the Thanksgiving tradition. The two gentlemen express gratitude for each other's friendship and for the simple pleasures in life, such as a warm meal and a comfortable place to sleep.
