Abstract

The article describes the origin of the unconventional legume Crotalaria juncea, in which the agrotechnology of cultivation in the Republic of Uzbekistan has not yet been ideally studied, its importance in agriculture, the influence of technology elements, the timing and rate of sowing on the amount of root tuber formation. Crotalaria juncea, like other legumes, absorbs nitrogen from the air during the growing season, converting part of it into the absorbed form by the plant, and part of it accumulates in the soil as a source of nitrogen, increasing soil fertility, which has a positive effect on the yield of subsequent crops. In the experiments, Crotalaria juncea was studied for three sowing dates (10.04; 20.04; 01.05) and three sowing rates (10; 14; 18 kg / ha), as well as the effect of the seeding time and rate on the amount of root tuber formation in the plant's root system.
