Abstract

Kirish qismida onomasiologiyaning o'rganish sohasi sifatida umumiy ko'rinishi keltirilgan va ushbu kontekstda toponimiyaning ahamiyati ta'kidlangan. Unda maqolaning maqsadlari ko'rsatilgan va keyingi bo'limlarning konturi keltirilgan.
Usullar bo'limi ushbu maqolada qo'llaniladigan tadqiqot yondashuvini tavsiflaydi. Unda turli manbalardan, shu jumladan lingvistik ma'lumotlar bazalaridan, tarixiy yozuvlardan va madaniyatshunoslikdan tegishli ma'lumotlarni to'plash va tahlil qilish muhokama qilinadi. Etimologik tahlil, qiyosiy tilshunoslik va madaniy talqin kabi toponimlarni o'rganishda qo'llaniladigan metodikalar ham muhokama qilinadi. Toponimiya onomaziologik tadqiqotlar tizimida, xususan joy nomlari va ularning ma'nolarini o'rganishda hal qiluvchi rol o'ynaydi. Onomasiologiya tilshunoslikning nomlash tizimlarini, shu jumladan ismlarni yaratish, evolyutsiyasi va talqin qilish bilan bog'liq jarayonlarni o'rganishga qaratilgan bo'limidir.
