Abstract
Hepatitis A (Botkin's disease) is an RNA virus belonging to the Picornavirus family, Enterovirus class, and causes acute viral liver damage. Its size is 27-30 nm. The virus does not have a shell. In addition, four more human virus genotypes and three monkey virus genotypes have been identified.
